Open Casting Call Today In LA
This is just a reminder that the first of four open casting calls for ABC’s Shark Tank will be taking place today (Saturday June 6th) in Los Angeles. Auditions well be take place at the Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown (map) between 9AM and 4PM make sure you arrive early. You will also need to fill out this application form.
Please be prepared to speak about the following in your casting interview:
1. What’s your name and your business?
2. How much money do you need from investors and why? Be specific. How will it be used?
3. What percentage of your company/idea/product are you willing to give up (e.g., 10%, 40%)?
4. What do you do for a living and where are you from?
5. When did you start inventing or become an aspiring entrepreneur? What influenced this decision?
6. Please describe your product/invention/business idea.
7. Make your pitch!
Examples of interesting information:
• What is it? Is it patented?
• How or why does it work? (Do a demonstration if you can.)
• What’s the market for this and why?
• How did you come up with the idea?
• Why is your idea the next best thing?
8. How much have you invested in your business? What would happen if you can’t get your business off the ground?
9. What does your business mean to you?
10. What is your ultimate goal for your business?
11. What has been your biggest challenge so far?
12. What do your family and/or friends think of your business?

I am interested in presenting my idea on Shark Tank 2010. I have coached baseball for 25 years. I have found that all the items on the market that teach player to swing a bat are not helpful at ALL. I have a invention that I have used with all my players for the last 5 years, that is proven to greatly improve their hitting. As you may or may not know baseball is a very competitive sport. Coaches, players and parents are looking for something to give their player, and advantage or edge. I have that tool and instructional video. Hello my name is Ernest Ray Love I have a patiented invention called the Solar Windshield. The Solar Windshield is a Photocramatic windshield with back and side windows made to ansi safety standards. It darkens in the sun, protects the driver and interior from the suns uv-rays gives privacy and goes back to its original clear state as the sun goes down for safer night time driving. its a 24 hour seven days a week window tinting system that is ready for production or sale.
The solar windshield is a window tinting system. It is made to ansi and safety standards just as a regular automobile windshield is. As you pull out of your garage the sun causes the solar windshield system to darken just as much as a tinted window darken because of the photocramatic glass properties. It protects you from sun harmful uv-rays.The name of the business is SOLAR 1. I need about ten thousand dollars to build a full size working solar windshield. I’am willing to give up 40% to any investor. I’am a supervisor at the State of California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Prison industry Authority in the Optical Dept. my inmates makes anywhere between 400 to 1200 pair of glasses per day. I live in Sacramento California. I have been here on and off for around 25 years I’am originally from upstate new york. I have worked in the optical business for 20 years on and off upon serving in the United States army for 6 years. 3 years regular army and three years reserve. While working at a number of one hour optical stores over the years selling and making transitions glasses I often wondered why this technology could not be used for other purposes other than glasses. So I started doing a patient search to see if anyone else had used this technology in any other way and found out after a year at the San francisco patient search library center no one had though to use this technology on automobiles or buildings. So I hunted for a good patent attorney and found one. I started this project in 2001 and was awarded a patient in 2003. The Solar winshield is a 24 hour 7 day a wethe sun harmful uv-rays, gives you privacy and cuts down on the use of your air condictioner which saves you money and also protects your interior. As long as your car is in the sun the solar windshield is working for you. As the sun goes down the solar windshield system goes back to its origional clear state for much much safer night time driving. With organizations like green peace and president Obama 2 billion dollar plan to build solar factories across the united states The Solar windshield will help to create jobs. This idea should fall right into line with the presidents agenda on Solar enery and I feel there will be a huge market for anything Solar powered. Also I believe this idea could work really well for the average working person and also work extremely welll on the flagships automobliles such as Corvette, BMW, Porsche, Viper ect. I have a prototype I used to send pictures to my patent attorney showing him the car in different stages of transition. This Idea is the greatest because its so sensible and does not cost anything to operate it is completely solar powered.I have invested 7 thousand dollars in getting my patient on this idea. Alot of companies tell me its a great idea then they ask me for 30 thousand dollars to take it to trade shows. If I had the time I could take it myself but I just dont. The Market for this is every automobile industry in the world would want this after they see it on all american cars. It can be made for any and all types of cars. If I cant get my business off the ground I would love to sell it to someone who is able to make it work for a 60 – 40 split and a negotiable dollar settlement. my biggest challenge so far is finding investors to put up the monies and not having the time to go to the trade shows and market this myself. My friends and family thinks its a fantastic idea and urge me to keep on working on it. My business means alot to me but I have about 5 other ideas I would love to get into production but i would like to do this one at a time with the best first being the SOLAR WINDSHIELD SYSTEM.
