Shark Tank

This is a very similar look to Dragon’s Den that Shark Tank is based on and airs around the world.

Tonight on Shark Tank:

“Episode 103″ — An entrepreneurial newbie comes to the Shark Tank with high hopes for her kitchen accessory, but her presentation is less than stellar. Will the Sharks shred her vision to pieces or will there be a Shark fight to get a piece of the idea? A passionate stay-at-home mom (Lori Lite from Marietta, Georgia) with her own line of self-published children’s books seeks much-needed funds to grow her business. Also, a father and son business team impress the Sharks with a revolutionary new musical product, but their need to control could derail the opportunity to make a fortune, on “Shark Tank,” SUNDAY, AUGUST 23 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network

From the preview I have been able to pull out the following companies:

Jeff Cohen CEO of Voyage Air Guitar will present his business to The Sharks. Voyage Air Guitar holds the patent and manufactures full size guitars that fold in half for easy travel.

Kwytza Recycled Chopstick Art is a company that takes used chopsticks and turns them into art.

Ken Bradford and his business “50 state capitals in 50 minutes”, which is a flash card game that helps children learn their capitals.

(cannot find link)

Lori Lite is a writer of childrens books, so far she is self-published. Her books are written to help children deal with anxiety and anger.

    Lori Lites website is http://www.StressFreeKids.com
and one of the books in the image is not a Lori Lite book. What to do when you worry too much, is a different author

I think you should get rid of Robert Herjavec and Kevin O’Leary. I used to watch Dragons Den on CBC but got tired of these guys running down everyones ideas. The numbers are important but Robert and Kevin O. are so one dimensional.

With the Turbobaster, I am glad Daymond and Kevin Harrington saw value in the idea and believed in the person. The Shark Tank needs more investors that can see long term value in good ideas instead of focusing just on the numbers.

Get rid of Robert and Kevin O.; they need to go invest their money in bonds or T Bills where they can be sure of their return.

I’ve read alot of comments stating that they have the next best thing. I just need a shot. I have an invention on a product that hasn’t change in over 60 years. I know that family, friends and co-workers pump you up with words about the invention and they’re in my corner, I’ve got the family, friends and co-workers, but all I need now is the SHARKS, I’ve truly have something for them. I’ve contacted a major manufactuer regarding my product and yes they’re interested but I believe that maybe I can do better with the SHARKS (now that I’ve seen the show). I’m currently awaiting my patient (and so is the major manufactuer) so please get in contact with me, I’m willing to travel for this opportunity, just let me know when and where…..

It’s Good to see somone taking an Initiative for helping other entrepenuers get theres.
I have not heard anything for months now about casting. Is there some kind of sceening for this project in order to get your product seen or even considered?
By the time we saw the show here in CA. the casting was over so we did not get a chance to even apply, seems that you might be missing out on some really good Inventions and business people. Maybe even some that have been test marketed with outstanding numbers. That might just make the sharks hungry for more.
    Thanks.
