Shark Tank Emmy?:A Nomination for “Outstanding Reality Program”


As announced early this morning on the West Coast, ABC’s breakout hit Shark Tank has been nominated for its first Emmy award, in the Outstanding Reality Program category. This is the first Shark Tank Emmy nomination, and undoubtedly not the last.

ABC will broadcast the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy® Awards on September 23, 2012.

Congrats to the Sharks, and best of luck on a possible Shark Tank Emmy. The show is gaining steam even this summer as fans from around the country and globe are introduced to Shark Tank.     We’re huge fans, have seen every episode since season one, and auditioned in LA. We know filming has begun, but we’re still hoping to get the call and, hopefully, be a part of Season Four!

  3. I think the nomination is well deserved! Shark Tank is the ONLY reality show I watch – great concept with the right “Sharks”. We still hope that we can be part of it.
