Comedian Jeff Foxworthy will make his first appearance in this Fridays episode of Shark Tank

Uncle Zip’s Beef Jerky:

Only available in a few stores, Uncle Zip’s Beef Jerky is fresh tasting beef jerky with no additives or preservatives. Jeff Foxworthy, has his own line of beef jerky, if he likes it then Uncle Zip might get a deal… It will be interesting to see if he’s interested in this company.

HillBilly Brand:

HillBilly Brand is a clothing and apparel company that appeals to the little bit of hillbilly in all of us. They mostly sell clothing to fans of country music.

Broccoli Wad:

The Broccoli Wad is a money band that keeps cash, credit cards and your ID in one secure package. It’s made out of a high quality silicon band, which allows you to wrap all your money in one impressive package. We all know the Sharks like to keep their money close at hand, but will they be interested in investing in a rubber band?

Ride-on Carry-On:

You will never have to worry about your kids running around in the airport again. The Ride-on Carry-on is allows you to snap a chair onto your existing rolling luggage and roll your child through the airport.

You may have noticed someone missing in my last post. Kevin Harrington, a pioneer of infomercials industry, will not be joining his fellow Sharks for the whole season. He has given his chair to Jeff Foxworthy this week, as they film the second season of Shark Tank in LA. Kevin H is set to return at the end of the month but I am uncertain if this will overlap with Mark Cuban’s appearance in the Shark Tank.
I will update you as more information becomes available.

The Hollywood Report is reporting that Mark Cuban (a self-made billionaire entrepreneur who owns the Dallas Mavericks and HDNet) will be a guest on ABC’s Shark Tank for three episodes. It was previously announced Jeff Foxworthy would also be appearing in three episodes.

Cuban brings some much needed star power to the Shark Tank, which will hopefully result in higher ratings.

ABC has renewed Shark Tank for a second season to air sometimes in early 2011. Although the season is smaller then last with only 8 episodes its still better then nothing.

All the Sharks will be returning this season, real-estate mogul Barbara Corcoran, infomercial pioneer Kevin Harrington, technology expert Robert Herjavec, fashion owner Daymond John and financial expert Kevin O’Leary. Comedian Jeff Foxworthy will join the Sharks for 3 episodes, adding a little mainstream star power to the group.

At first glance Jeff Foxworthy may not seem like a business tycoon like the rest of the Sharks but he has turned “You Might Be A Redneck If…” into an empire. Publishing over 25 books, selling 15 million records, creating a line of greeting card, owning restaurants, staring in a game show, his own brand of beef jerky, and BBQ sauce.

There is no information about casting as of yet but when it becomes available I will let you all know.
