Shark Tank Q&A: Stella Valle Sisters on Landing Their Shark

Q: The product margins you mentioned were some of the best I’ve heard from any Shark Tank entrepreneurs. How do you keep your costs so low at the time of your appearance? How glad were you that the Sharks asked this question?

We do have really great raw profit margins, but there are a lot of other things that go into our products besides the costs mentioned. We spend months designing each and every piece in our line with a very specific story and inspiration. It can take up to a year from a design concept to a perfected collection so that all must be considered–time is money.

Q: What did it mean to you to strike a deal with Mark and Lori?

To prove our competence, dedication, drive, product, story, and passion to some of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world makes us very proud that’s we’ve succeeded with stella valle. The Public Responds to the stella valle Deal

Q: Tell us about the response from your friends/family. Was it hard on you to keep the deal a secret for so long since filming?

Our friends and family have been the greatest support group from day one. It was so tough to keep this secret and we are so happy that everyone can know now.

Q: What’s the response been from the general public and fans/viewers of the show?

The response has been so amazing from the public. We’ve been swarmed since the show with emails, calls, and orders that are still coming through. Just trying to get to the bottom of our inboxes.
