Gato Cafe – Unique “cat cafe” concept featuring tea…and cats

Adriana Montano, a cat lover from Boca Raton, FL hopes to find the purr-fect partner to invest in her business where fellow animal-loving patrons can enjoy playing with rescued cats while sipping tea or coffee. Other “cat cafes” have opened in locations in Asia and Europe, so the concept itself is proven. Ms. Montano hopes to differentiate by offering boozy “Columbia-style” coffee and cats that are available for adoption. My prediction: Gato Cafe will have a great pitch and it will be a fun segment to watch, but the Sharks won’t be interested in giving this idea the legs it needs.

I’ve been surprised at the Sharks’ investments in pet-based businesses before, so I could definitely be wrong. Best of luck to Adriana and team on bringing their dream to market.
